According to StreetAccount, the company’s products and maintenance segment had sales of $922.8 million, compared with analysts’ estimates of his $928.8 million. Services revenue also fell short of expectations, coming in at $53.8 million compared to analyst estimates of $57.9 million.
swirl — Shares of the kitchen and laundry company fell 2% after mixed earnings reports. Whirlpool posted adjusted earnings of $4.21 a share, beating Refinitiv analysts’ forecasts of $3.76 per share. Meanwhile, revenue fell short of expectations, with Whirlpool reporting $4.79 billion versus analysts’ expectations of $4.82 billion.
NXP Semiconductors — Shares rose 1% after the chipmaker released its latest quarterly results. NXP reported adjusted earnings of $3.43 per share on revenue of $3.3 billion. Analysts had expected earnings of $3.29 a share and revenue of $3.21 billion, according to Refinitiv. The company’s third-quarter earnings forecast also beat analyst estimates.
F5 Networks — Shares of cloud-based software companies soared 7% after strong revenue and bottom line improvements in the third quarter of the fiscal year. F5 posted adjusted earnings per share of $3.21 on revenue of $703 million. Analysts expect earnings of $2.86 a share and revenue of $699 million, according to Refinitiv.
