interactive broker — Interactive Brokers fell 2.6% after the brokerage’s second-quarter profit fell short of expectations. Refinitiv said its adjusted earnings were $1.32 per share, below consensus expectations of $1.40 per share.
Calvana — The online car retailer fell more than 8% in after-hours trading. Carvana announced Tuesday that it will report its second-quarter results on Wednesday, bringing up the release date from Aug. 3.
Omnicom Group — Shares fell more than 5% after Omnicom Group reported disappointing earnings. The global marketing firm posted $3.61 billion in revenue in the second quarter, below the $3.67 billion forecast, according to FactSet consensus estimates. Earnings forecasts were marginally beaten, with adjusted earnings of $1.81 per share, beating consensus expectations of $1.80 per share.
JB Hunt Transport Service — JB Hunt Transport Services fell 1.1% after reporting disappointing results. The transportation and logistics company reported second-quarter earnings of $1.81 per share on revenue of $3.13 billion. Analysts polled by Refinitiv expected earnings of $1.92 a share and revenue of $3.31 billion.
Western Alliance Bank Ltd. — Regional bank stocks fell about 5% after Western Alliance released its second-quarter results. Refinitiv reported earnings of $1.96 per share, below consensus expectations of $1.98. Revenue for the quarter was $669 million, beating expectations of $652 million. The bank reported an increase in deposits during the quarter.
