One of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Ric Flair, is coming to Motown next week, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Instead of green beer, Flair brings his own Ric Flair Drip cannabis product.
Who is hosting? On March 16th and 17th, Flair will visit clinics in Detroit, including Cloud Cannabis, JARS and House of Dank.
Ric Flair and cannabis: the match that saved his life
Flair in 2021 Mike Tyson’s Weed Company Tyson 2.0 bought “Ric Flair Drip” and the two have been working and playing together ever since. The company’s co-founder and president, thanks in part to Chad Bronstein, has expanded to more than 20 states and Canada in his one year.
The time they smoked weed at Chicago’s iconic Palmer House Hotel
Flair and Tyson attended the Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference in Chicago last September, setting their joints on fire while discussing cannabis’ benefits over drugs like Xanax and other addictive painkillers. It is famous for wearing and smoking.
Flair told a packed conference room at the Palmer House Hotel that marijuana had replaced Xanax as a pain medication. During his career, Flair had to wrestle 454 times a year.
“When this came along,” Flair said, holding the joint in his hands, “it completely wiped out my previous addiction.”
This is one of many events and incidents, planned or spontaneous, that always occur at the Cannabis Capital Conference in Benzinga. These conferences are always fun, informative, and important for anyone involved or wanting to be involved in the burgeoning industry.
Join us at our upcoming conference in Miami Beach
In addition to meeting cannabis entrepreneurs such as Mike Tyson and Ric Flair (and possibly smoking with them), you’ll be able to sit shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the world’s biggest cannabis industry players. No exaggeration. You can choose between conferences, meetings, lectures and personal meetups taking place simultaneously over two full days on two different stages, not to mention the halls of the splendid Fontainebleau Hotel. And then there are meals and social events you won’t soon forget.
