A recent comment from O’Leary targets doing business in certain states with Democratic-led governments that he said are bad for business.

Another recent tweet from O’Leary sparked a backlash because it advised people to worry about business and money over many other things, including family.

Despite the backlash, O’Leary backed up his comments, saying in an interview with CNN that being an entrepreneur requires great sacrifices.
“Don’t worry if you don’t get it, it doesn’t fit the entrepreneur mold. If you’re not ready to take it seriously, you’re not an entrepreneur. I couldn’t care less.” .
