In a recent Twitter post, he said the social media platform plans to roll out an ad-free, higher-priced subscription model.
However, he didn’t provide details about the new subscription model or the cost of the proposed service.
Twitter has been bleeding advertisers since Musk took over, with several high-profile companies suspending promotions on the platform.
In early January, the company Said Relax ad policies for cause-based advertising and align ad policies with TV and other media outlets.
Last year, Twitter relaunched its $8 Twitter Blue subscription service. The revamped Twitter Blue version comes with the standard blue check mark and a new gold badge for verified official business accounts.

Musk told investors it plans to improve its platform and strengthen its subscription offerings to make it less dependent on advertisers.
For the quarter ended June 30, the company reported total revenue of $1.18 billion.
Twitter posted a net loss of $270 million, compared with a profit of $66 million in the same period last year.
